Imphal Travels

We’ve been here at Hotel White Palace on M G Avenue for quite some time now. Most people know the spot because we’re right opposite the United Bank of India. It’s a busy part of Imphal, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We spend our days mostly looking at computer screens and answering the phone when people call about their trips. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and chairs where we sit and handle the bookings. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but that’s just how it is living here. We try to keep things organized so nobody misses their flight or bus. It gets a bit loud with the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the folks who come in are locals we’ve seen before or travelers staying at the hotel who need a bit of help getting around. We keep a stack of paper forms and some pens on the counter for whoever needs them. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay from morning until we close up in the evening. If you walk past the bank, you’ll see our sign right there. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of town where everything is within walking distance.
