GIDEON CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is located out in Khabam Lamkhai, Imphal. We share a space with Ch. Pacho Kom over at IED- IV 252-16NC. It’s not a big corporate office with a glass front. It’s a more humble setup, which suits us just fine. We spend most of our time out on the field anyway. Construction in this part of Manipur is all about dealing with what you have. We manage various building jobs and try to keep things organized, even when the weather or the supply chain makes it difficult. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in being a Private Limited company, so we spend our evenings catching up on that. Our crew is mostly local guys who know the land. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that get the job done. It’s a lot of manual labor, mixing concrete and laying bricks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just want to get the structures built properly. Sometimes things take longer than we’d like because of delays beyond our control, but we stay with it. It’s a tough way to make a living, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been operating around West Imphal for a while and just keep moving from one project to the next. We stick together and make sure the daily tasks are finished before we head home.
