Bonil Irengbam Studio Llp is based at No 38 Loklaobung Moirangkhom. If you know the area, it’s a pretty easy spot to find. We are a small team working out of this studio space. It's not one of those tall glass buildings you see in big cities. It’s more of a local setup. We have been in Loklaobung for some time now, and we like being part of the community here. The studio is usually a bit messy because we are always in the middle of some project or another. There’s always someone coming in or out, usually with some equipment or a notepad. We don't really do big meetings; we just talk across the room while we work. Moirangkhom is a good place to be, though traffic can be a bit of a headache during the rush hour. Sometimes we just sit outside for a bit to clear our heads when the work gets too much. We aren't a big corporation, just a few people running a studio. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the actual work. It’s a lot of hours, but that’s how it goes when you’re running your own thing. We have some old furniture and some new gear mixed together. It doesn't look like a magazine photo, but it's where we get things done. We just take one day at a time here and try to keep the work flowing as best as we can.
