Athoiba Handicrafts Producer Company Limited is basically just us working out of Nambol. The office is actually at Laishram Memcha Devi’s place, which is a spot most people in the BPR Nambol area can find if they look around. It is not some big corporate building or anything like that. We are just a local group trying to get things done with the handicrafts we produce here. Most days are spent just coordinating between different people who are making things in their own homes or small sheds. Nambol has a specific feel to it, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a marketing team or anything. Usually, someone just answers the phone or talks to whoever walks in through the gate. It can get a bit cluttered with materials and paperwork piled up on the desks, but that is how it goes when you are actually working. We have been at this for a bit now, keeping the name Athoiba going. It’s hard work, and sometimes the electricity goes out or the roads get muddy when it rains, but we still show up. We are just a producer company, meaning we are owned by the people who do the actual making. There are no fancy posters on the walls. Just the address and the work that needs to be finished by the end of the week. We are just regular people from Bishnupur doing our daily jobs at the office and making sure everything is counted correctly.
