Samar Ice Cream

We are located on the Main Road in New Town. It is a busy spot because we are right near D.M. College. Most of our days are spent watching students walk by between their classes. We started Samar Ice Cream because the heat around here gets pretty bad, especially in the afternoons. Our shop isn't fancy. It is just a plain room with some freezers and a couple of places to sit if you need a break from the sun. We open up early to get things ready and stay open until the street gets quiet at night. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for people to park, but they usually find a way. The college kids come in groups and stay for a while, talking about their exams or whatever else they do. We just keep the machines running and make sure everything stays frozen. There is a lot of dust from the road sometimes, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass and the floors. It is a simple life here. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure there is enough ice cream for everyone who stops by. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and we know most of the people who work in the nearby shops too. It feels like a small community even though the road is always moving.
