North East Spice Traders

North East Spice Traders is tucked away in the Ssi Building right in the middle of Paona Bazar. If you know the area, we are just a short walk from Usha Hall. The market is always crowded and noisy, which is just how it is here. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and moving sacks of goods in and out of the small space we have. It gets a bit chaotic when deliveries arrive at the same time as customers, but we manage. We handle all sorts of spices that come from across the region. Paona Bazar is a historic place and being part of it feels right for a business like ours. We don't have a flashy website or a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders go out on time. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the street muddy, but the work doesn't stop. We mostly deal with local shopkeepers and some traders who need bulk supplies. We try to keep things simple and honest. You won’t find any corporate talk here, just people who know their spices and the local market. It’s a basic setup but it works for what we do every day. We just take things one day at a time and focus on the stock we have in front of us.
