Atinga Foundation

Atinga Foundation is run out of Imphal West. We are located at the residence of Mrs. S. Juboti Devi Tera Loukrakpam. It’s in the IED-II area. This isn’t a typical office building. It’s more of a local setup right in the heart of the community. We think it’s better that way because people feel more comfortable coming to a house than a big, cold office. We spend most of our time working on local issues and helping out families nearby. The area is usually pretty calm, though the roads can get a bit muddy when it rains. We have a small room where we keep our files and a table where we sit and talk through our plans. It’s a very hands-on operation. We don’t have a huge team, just a few dedicated people who care about what happens here in Imphal. We’ve known most of our neighbors for years. Sometimes we sit outside if the weather is nice to discuss things. It’s not a formal place at all. You might see some laundry hanging or hear the local kids playing while we work. That’s just the reality of how we operate. We don’t need anything fancy to do our work. We just need enough space for our paperwork and a place where people can find us easily when they have a problem. It’s simple and it works for us.
