Sar Konnect Elektra Pvt. Ltd. is situated out at Get-423, on Plot-10-11 in Talegaon. It’s part of the Igatpuri area in the Nasik district. Being out here means it is a bit quieter than being right in the middle of Nasik city, which we actually prefer. The weather gets really intense during the monsoon season; the rain just pours down on the roof of the unit for days. We focus on electrical work here. The space is filled with wires, components, and various tools spread out across the workbenches. It isn't a very tidy place, but we know where everything is kept. We have a small team, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything, from unloading supplies to checking the parts we put together. Sometimes the commute from the main town takes longer than we'd like because of the roads, but once we are at the plot, we just get on with the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area or people in suits. We wear work clothes that usually end up with a bit of dirt or grease on them by lunchtime. We eat our tiffins together and talk about whatever is going on in the district. It’s a straightforward life working with electronics and electricity out here in the Talegaon countryside. We just try to do our work well and go home to our families at the end of the shift.
