We have been operating out of Vengalloor for quite some time now. Our office is tucked away at Kakkanattu House, right here in the Thodupuzha area of Idukki. Most of the people who come by are locals who’ve lived here as long as we have. It’s a simple setup really. We deal with chit funds, which means a lot of paperwork and people dropping in to check their accounts or join a new group. It isn't a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s just a plain room with desks, some old files, and a few chairs for whoever is waiting. We spend most of our days keeping the ledgers updated and making sure the monthly auctions go off without any hitches. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on collection days, and we might be running around a bit, but that is just how it goes in a small town business. The weather in Idukki can be a bit unpredictable, so if there’s a big storm, we might be a little slow answering the door, but we are always there. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or big promises. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the money is handled right. It’s a small, honest operation where everyone knows each other by name. We like being part of the community here in the P.O. area.
