Tata General Hospital

Our hospital is the high range facility for TATA Global Beverages Limited, located right here in Munnar, Kerala. Being up in the hills, it is a bit different from your average city hospital. We are here primarily to look after the people working in the tea estates and the local residents of the high range. The air is fresh but the work is constant. The building fits in with the landscape of Munnar. It is a functional place, built to last and to serve a lot of people. We have different wards and basic emergency services. It is not a luxury setup, just a reliable hospital where you can get medical attention when you need it. Because of the location, we see a lot of specific issues related to the terrain and the local industry. The doctors and nurses are used to the pace of life here. Sometimes the mist rolls in and you can barely see the entrance, but we are always open. We do not use a lot of fancy medical jargon with our patients. We just explain what is wrong and what needs to be done. It is a community-focused hospital that has been around for generations. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles, just the essential equipment and a team that knows how to use it. It is a quiet but busy life up here in the hills of Kerala, and we just do our part every day.
