St.Augustine Hospital

We are right on the Kottayam-Kumily Rd in an area called Spring Valley. St.Augustine Hospital is a familiar sight for anyone who drives that route often. The road is full of bends and trees, and Spring Valley is one of the prettier spots along the way. Our address repeats itself in the local records because Spring Valley is really the core of our identity here. The hospital building is a plain, functional structure. We don’t have any of that modern architecture that looks like an art gallery. It’s just rooms and hallways where people get taken care of. Being on the Kottayam-Kumily Rd means we get a lot of travelers stopping by, sometimes just to ask how much further it is to the next town. During the monsoon, the whole of Spring Valley gets very misty and green. It can be a bit damp inside, but we keep the place tidy. The staff here aren't into fancy titles or corporate talk. We just speak plain English or the local tongue. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the big buses roar past on the road outside. We’ve got a small parking area that gets a bit muddy when it rains. It’s just a regular, working hospital at the edge of the road. We stay busy with the local folks and whoever happens to be passing through Spring Valley.
