Our business is called Pulimoottil Business Combines and we are over in the Vengalloor area of Thodupuzha. If you know where the State Bank is, we are pretty close to that. Specifically, we are at 34/111 in Kaithakode. Abraham Stephen started this and we’ve been operating out of this spot in Idukki for a good while now. We handle various business interests under one roof, hence the name combines. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. The office is tucked away but it’s easy enough to find if you’re from around here. We deal with a lot of local trade and services. Everyday life in Kerala means dealing with the heat and the monsoon, so our schedule depends on that sometimes. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few people who know the area well. We like the neighborhood here in Vengalloor. It’s peaceful but close enough to the main town. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by. We’ve kept things going through various changes in the market. It’s about being consistent and showing up every morning even when things are slow. We don’t use any fancy systems, just folders and some old computers that still work fine. It’s a practical way to run a business and it works for us. If you’re ever near the bank, you’re basically at our doorstep. We’re just regular people working hard to keep things moving. It's nothing fancy, but it is our work.
