Ar Engineering

Ar Engineering is tucked away in Fathima Nagar, up in Pambanar within the Peermedu area of Idukki. It is a beautiful part of the country, but the work we do is very grounded in nuts and bolts. We have a small shop where we fix machinery and handle various engineering tasks for the local people and farms around here. Since we are in the hills, sometimes it gets quite misty or rainy, and we have to move the work inside the shed. It is not a massive facility with high-tech robots. It is mostly just us using wrenches, lathes, and welding gear to get things back in working order. We have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corner that usually comes in handy for something. People know they can find us here in Fathima Nagar when their equipment breaks down. We do not have a website or a sales team. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes we have to travel out to a farm to fix something that is too big to move. It is quiet work for the most part. We like the pace of life here in Idukki. We just focus on solving the mechanical problems that come our way, one job at a time, without any complicated talk. It keeps us busy enough and we like the people we deal with daily and the quiet atmosphere of the hills.
