Onkar Agro & Engg Works

We are located on Upputhara Road in Kattappana. It’s a place where we do a lot of work with farm equipment and various engineering tasks. The shop is usually a bit dusty and smells like grease and burnt metal, which is how a real workshop should be. We have tools scattered around on the benches, but we know where everything is when a new job comes in. People from the nearby farms bring their machinery to us when something breaks or needs a bit of fixing up. We do our best to get things back in working order so they can get back to their fields as soon as possible. It’s hands-on work, often involving welding or making parts from scratch because you can't always buy what you need. Kattappana is a busy area for agriculture, so there is always someone needing help with a tractor or an irrigation pump. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find one of us under a machine or busy at the workbench. The rain here can be really heavy, so we spend some days just working inside the shed with the lights on. It’s not a fancy business, just a practical one that serves the local farmers and builders. We’ve been here for years, and most of our customers are neighbors or people we’ve known for a long time. It’s honest work that keeps us on our toes every single day.
