Nedumkandam Mithrabandhu Nidhi Limited is located at B.No 3/1571. We are right opposite the Puthoor Plaza in Nedumkandam West. If you’ve ever been to this part of the hills you know it can be quite beautiful but also a bit rugged. Our office is a straightforward place. We deal with Nidhi transactions all day long. People come in to talk about their savings or small loans. We have a few desks and some files stacked up in the corner. Being across from the plaza means there is always something happening outside. We see the buses come and go. The weather here in Nedumkandam can change fast. One minute it’s sunny and the next it’s pouring rain. We keep a few umbrellas by the door for the staff. We don't have any corporate manuals or fancy mission statements. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Most of us are from around here so we know everyone’s name. It feels more like a community spot than a cold office. We use a lot of blue ink pens and paper pads. It’s just how we’ve always done it. We don't feel the need to change things just to look modern. As long as the books balance at the end of the day we are happy. We just stay here in Nedumkandam West and keep things going for the local folks. It is just a normal job.
