Joby John runs this place from Mundackal Houseezhumuttom, which is over in the Karimannoor area of Thodupuzha. If you know the roads around Idukki, it isn't too hard to find us once you get to the P.O. there. We started Joby'S Toppers Institutes Private Limited because there seemed to be a need for something local. Most days it is just us handling the paperwork and talking to people who come by the house. It’s a quiet spot. Kerala weather can be a bit much sometimes, but we stay busy with the institute stuff inside. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a practical setup where we can get the work done without a lot of fuss. My neighbor sometimes asks what all the visitors are for, and I just tell them we are working on the education side of things. It has been a few years now since we set up at the 685581 zip code. The gate is usually open during the day so people can just walk in. We keep the files organized in the back room as best as we can. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy in Idukki, but we manage. You just learn to deal with those little things when you live out here. The house has enough room for the desks and the files we need. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, nothing corporate about it. We just show up and do the work every morning.
