Jhs Dairy Farm Private Limited is located up here in Idukki, specifically in the Elappara Panchayat area. We are in Building No. 15/644, right near Fair Field P.O. Running a dairy farm in Kerala means early mornings and a lot of mud when the rains come. We have a good number of cows and they need constant attention. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The air is fresh up here, which helps. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to manage the milking by hand or with the generator. It's just part of the routine. We don't have a big marketing team. Mostly, people find out about us through word of mouth. We focus on keeping the animals healthy and the milk clean. The farm takes up most of our time. Even on holidays, someone has to be here. That’s just the way it is with livestock. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s a sturdy place, though it could use a fresh coat of paint eventually. We care about the land and the animals we have. If you’re ever driving through Idukki and pass by Fair Field, that’s where you’ll find us. We’re usually busy with chores or fixing a fence. It's a quiet life, but we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. That is how things go at Jhs.
