Issacs Residency

Issacs Residency is located right on Top Station Road in Munnar. It is a hilly area, so the roads are quite curvy and can be a bit tricky if you are not used to driving here. We are situated in a spot where you can see the mist rolling in over the tea gardens most mornings. The building has been here for years, and we have seen a lot of tourists pass through on their way to the viewpoints further up the road. It is a simple place to stay. We spend our time checking people in and making sure the rooms are warm enough, as it gets quite chilly at night in the mountains. The staff here knows the area well, like where the best tea is sold or which roads are blocked when it rains heavy. We do not have any big corporate rules or anything; we just try to be helpful when guests ask about local spots. The kitchen prepares basic meals, and the dining area is usually where people hang out to talk about their travels. It gets very busy during the summer months when people are trying to escape the heat from the plains. We just keep things moving, cleaning up and getting ready for the next group of visitors that arrives by bus or car. We are just a local family-run business doing our best with the daily chores.
