IDUKKI GRAMIN NIDHI LIMITED

Our office is situated in Thodupuzha, right at the Vettiplackal building which is 15/564-A. It is a local place here in Idukki. We mostly deal with the people who live and work right in this neighborhood. Being a Nidhi company means we are mostly just looking after the small savings of folks who live nearby. Thodupuzha is a busy spot, and we are right there in the middle of it. We have a few staff members who have lived in this area their whole lives. We do not have any big corporate offices in the city, just this one spot where we do all our work. Usually, our day starts early when the shop owners around us are opening up. People come in to deposit a bit of money or ask about how the savings schemes work. It is all very basic and we use simple English so everyone understands what is happening with their money. The building is easy to find if you are heading towards the main post office. We have some regular faces who come in every week just to say hello and drop off their savings. It feels more like a community spot than a bank. We keep our records on the computers but we still like to write things down in the ledgers sometimes. It is just how we do things here in Idukki. No big promises, just a place for locals to keep their money.
