The weather is a bit cooler here, and things move a lot slower than they do in the coastal cities. We run our property business from this house, and it’s a very local affair. Most of the people we deal with are our neighbors or folks from the surrounding villages. We don't have a corporate office with a lobby. It’s just Kottarathil House, where we have a room set aside for our files and a computer. We spend a lot of our time talking about land, especially since geography is so important in a place like Idukki. It is a family-style environment where everyone knows each other.
