You can find Modern Electronics right on Shahpur Road in Samarat Ashok Nagar. We’ve been running this shop for many years now, and it’s become a bit of a staple in the neighborhood. We sell various electronic items for the house and we also do some repairs when things break down. The shop isn't very large, and the shelves are packed pretty tight with everything from small kitchen appliances to radios and bulbs. It’s a busy road outside, so there’s always the sound of horns and people walking by. Inside, we try to keep things as organized as possible, though it’s a bit of a struggle with so much stock. It’s a family business, so you’ll often see my brother or cousin helping out behind the counter. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just show people what we have and answer their questions as best as we can. The floor is a bit scuffed from years of use, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the work. We open up early to catch the people heading to their jobs. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us here on the ground floor, serving the local people who need something for their homes.
