Shriniwas Purushottam Company

Shriniwas Purushottam Company is over at Rishikesh Bhavan, number 17/15, near the Shahu Statue on Kolhapur Road. It’s a well-known landmark, so people usually don't have much trouble finding us. We’ve been in this building for many years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. It’s a family business through and through. My father started it, and now we carry it on. We don't have a big corporate structure or human resources department. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over tea. Kolhapur Road is a busy stretch, and we see a lot of people passing by our window. Our work is pretty routine. We process orders, talk to suppliers, and keep the books. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us going. We like the regular faces we see every day. Sometimes a customer will stay for an hour just to catch up on family news. We like that part of the job. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We aren't looking to expand into a giant corporation. We are quite content with our spot here in Rishikesh Bhavan near the statue. It’s a solid, honest place to be, and we plan to stay for more years.
