Arihant Mills

We are over at 8/804 Arihant Manor at Thorat Chowk in Shantinagar. It’s a local spot where things feel a bit more relaxed than the city center. We operate a small mill here. The sound of the machinery is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a steady hum that fills the room from morning until evening. We deal with various materials. The air is often filled with little bits of lint or dust from the fabrics. We wear masks sometimes when it gets too much. Shantinagar is a decent neighborhood to be in. We have our regulars who come by Thorat Chowk to see us. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner of the mill. We have a couple of old cupboards for filing and a desk that’s seen better days. We don’t spend much on furniture because the work happens out on the floor. It’s a lot of standing and watching the machines to make sure everything is running right. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. We’ve been at Arihant Manor for quite some time now. It’s a practical business. We produce what’s needed and we don't make a big fuss about it. Every day is pretty much the same, and we like it that way. We usually lock up the gates around six and go home to our families.
