Nova College Of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is out here in Jupudi, near Ibrahimpatnam. The drive out from Krishna can be a bit long depending on the traffic, but once you get here, it is a bit quieter than the main city. We spend our days mostly in the classrooms or the laboratories. There is always a bit of a breeze coming across the fields, which helps when the sun is really hitting the roof. The students are mostly busy with their notes and the lab work. You see them walking around the campus in groups, talking about exams or whatever they are doing for their projects. We have a lot of equipment that needs constant cleaning and checking, which takes up a lot of the afternoon. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary every single hour, just going through the curriculum and making sure the labs are stocked with what the kids need for their practicals. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of being in this area. Our desks are usually covered in files and old textbooks. It is a place for studying and getting work done without too much fuss. People here are friendly enough, and we all know the tea guy by name because he’s there every morning when we arrive at the gate.
