We’ve been running things here at Sree Nylayam for quite a while now. The address is House No 12-13-66 on Street No 4 in Tarnaka. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy spot with people always on the move. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial place where we keep our tools and stock. My desk is usually buried under a pile of catalogs and old invoices because we prefer doing things on paper most of the time. We handle various industrial supplies and parts that people in the nearby workshops often need. It’s a lot of checking specifications and making sure we’ve got the right bit for the right job. The ceiling fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a fancy script. It’s just us. Some days are slow and we spend them reorganizing the shelves, while other days are so hectic we barely have time for lunch. We like it here in Tarnaka though. The neighbors are good people and there is always a tea stall nearby when we need a break. We’ve seen the street change as new buildings go up, but we just keep doing our thing at the same old spot. It’s honest, steady work and that’s plenty for us.
