Yukta Homeo Clinic

At Yukta Homeo Clinic, things stay pretty low-key most of the time. We are tucked away in Malakpet, specifically over in Salem Nagar. Finding us is easiest if you look for the Rama Rao Company; we are right near there. The clinic is a small space, mostly filled with cabinets and a small desk where I sit. I’ve noticed that the neighborhood has changed over the years, with more shops opening up, but this corner stays mostly the same. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’re fine for now. We have a few benches for people to wait on. It’s not a fancy medical office with glass walls and uniforms. It’s just a place where we keep our homeopathic supplies and talk to people. The air conditioning works most days, but sometimes we just leave the door open to get a breeze. Salem Nagar is a decent place to be based. You get a mix of people walking by. Some are going to work at the nearby companies, and others are just locals out for groceries. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it at the desk when it’s quiet. There’s a tea stall not far away that makes a good cup, which helps on the long afternoons. It’s a steady kind of life here. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when the sun goes down. It’s not much, but it’s our spot.
