We are located at Plot Number 54, right near the ESI in Sundar Nagar. It’s a fairly easy spot to find once you are in the neighborhood. Our building is a simple structure that we have been using as our lab and office for some time now. We aren't a massive operation, just a group of people doing our daily work. Inside, it’s mostly white walls and lab benches, with a small section for the administrative staff to sit. We spend a lot of time looking through microscopes or checking samples, so it stays pretty quiet most of the day. We don't have any big corporate slogans or a fancy lobby. There is just a small waiting area with a few old chairs. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work. The neighborhood is okay, with a few small shops where we grab our afternoon tea or some biscuits. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living here. We know most of the people who come by regularly. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just show up, do the testing that needs to be done, and try to keep our records straight. It’s a simple life and we like the work. There is always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the shift to make sure everything is ready for the next morning.
