Woods (Dress Your Homes)

You can find us at 222B in West Marredpally. We are right beside St Andrews School, which is a big help when telling people where we are. The shop is called Woods, and we also use the name Dress Your Homes. It’s a nice little spot in a residential part of the area. We’ve got all sorts of things for the house inside. Since we are next to a school, it gets quite noisy when the kids are coming or going, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time arranging the floor so people can actually walk through and see what we have. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized shop where we keep a bit of everything. We’re just regular folks working here. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just focus on the furniture and the people who come in. Sometimes we have a lot of new stock and other times the place looks a bit empty if we’ve had a busy week. Marredpally is a good community, and we like being part of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around. We just like what we do and we’ve been doing it for a while now. If you’re near the school, just look for the sign that says Woods. We’re usually here most days of the week working on things.
