Wooden Weaves

We started Wooden Weaves out here in Nizampet, specifically at Sy. No. 326 1-123/2. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but we like the space we have here. Working with wood is what we do, mostly making things that people need for their homes. It’s dusty work, and there’s always the sound of saws running in the background. We aren't a big factory with robots. It’s just us and a few tools. Our workshop isn't the cleanest place, but that's because we're actually working in it every day. You can smell the sawdust as soon as you walk in. We spend a lot of time picking out the right pieces of timber and figuring out how to put them together so they last. Nizampet has grown a lot since we first set up shop. There are more houses now, which keeps us busy. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights or anything like that. Most people just come by the workshop and see what we’re currently building on the floor. It’s a practical way of doing business. Sometimes we run behind on things when the weather gets too humid for the wood to dry, but we try our best to get things finished. We’re just a small group of people who like working with our hands. It's not glamorous, but it's what we do for a living.
