Vision 20-20 Eye Care Pvt. Ltd. is located on the 4th floor of the Amar Welfare Co-Operative Society building. The address is H. No. 1-66/4/6 in Guttla Begumpet, right in the Kavuri Hills area of Telangana. Getting up to the 4th floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. Once you get here, it’s a fairly quiet place. We have all the equipment for checking eyes, and there are rows of frames on the shelves for people to try on. Some of them look a bit dusty because not everyone wants the old styles. We spend our time talking to people about why their vision is getting blurry or helping them pick out glasses that don't slide down their noses. The view from the 4th floor is actually okay; you can see a bit of the hills and the traffic below. We aren't a big hospital or anything, just a specialized spot for eye stuff. Sometimes the lens grinder makes a lot of noise, but mostly it’s just the sound of people reading letters off the wall. We try to keep things simple and not use too many medical words that nobody understands. It’s a steady job, and we like being in this part of the city. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
