Vishu Events & Weddings

You can find us right across from the big water tank in Vittalwadi. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. We are in the Narayanguda area of Hyderabad. Our space isn’t very large, but it serves us well for what we do. We handle weddings and different kinds of events. Most of the time, the place is full of samples and fabric swatches. We started Vishu Events because we like being part of local celebrations. It's a noisy neighborhood, especially with the traffic moving toward the water tank. We don’t mind it much. We’ve lived in Hyderabad our whole lives, so we’re used to the hustle. There isn't a fancy lobby or a coffee machine. We usually just offer people a glass of water and sit down at the main table to talk. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit. We keep our records in big folders. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different venues. If you come by and the door is locked, we’re probably at a site visit. We try to be back by the evening. People know us by name around the street. It feels good to be a local business that’s been in the same spot for years. The paint on our front door is a little faded but we like it. We have a small radio.
