You’ll find Vidya Sagars Gastroenterology Clinic on the first floor of the Amsri Classic building, right there in Flat No 4. We are located directly opposite St Mary's Church in Secunderabad, which is a very easy landmark for everyone to find. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs or use the lift, but it’s a short trip. The clinic isn't very big, but it’s got enough room for the doctor’s office and a small area where patients can sit while they wait their turn. It’s usually pretty quiet in here, save for the sound of the church bells or the traffic from the main road. We keep a stack of old magazines on the table, though most people just look at their phones these days. The staff consists of just a couple of us who manage the appointments and keep the files in order. We know that coming to see a stomach specialist isn't anyone's idea of a fun afternoon, so we try to keep things simple and quick. The doctor has his routine and we follow it. There’s a window that looks out toward the street where you can see the buses going by. It’s a plain office with white walls and a few charts about the digestive system, nothing too fancy or modern. We just focus on seeing the people who booked in for the day and making sure the paperwork is done correctly for them.
