Victorian English Antique Raplica

We’re located over at Bhavani Plaza on Road No 2 in Banjara Hills, right near the Mountain Bakery. If you smell fresh bread in the mornings, you’re probably close to our shop. At Victorian English Antique Raplica, we focus on making pieces that look like they’re from another time. The shop is pretty crowded with large wooden cabinets, ornate chairs, and tables that look like they belong in an old house. It’s a bit dark inside because of all the heavy wood, and there’s always that distinct smell of wood stain and wax. We spend a lot of hours just rubbing down surfaces and making sure the finish looks right. It’s slow work, and you can’t really rush it without messing things up. My hands are usually stained with some kind of dark oil or polish. We don’t have a big sales team; it’s usually just one or two of us here to answer questions if someone wanders in. People often stop by after visiting the bakery, just to look around at the carvings. The floorboards in our unit creak a bit when you walk, which actually fits the vibe of the furniture we have. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of the sanding, so we’re always wiping things down. We don’t do any fancy marketing or social media stuff. We just stay here in Bhavani Plaza and keep working on the pieces one by one.
