We’re up on the fourth floor of Sairam Towers on Alexander Road. It’s a decent enough building, though the elevator sometimes takes its time getting up to us. Our work involves lab services and pharmaceutical stuff, so it’s a very different environment compared to the shops on the ground floor. It’s quiet and clean up here, which is necessary for the kind of testing and research we do. We have a small group of people who are mostly focused on their lab coats and microscopes. The office part is just desks and computers where we keep track of all the data and reports. Alexander Road is a well-known area, so it’s easy for people to reach us, even if parking can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We’ve been in this space for a while and have settled into a good routine. There’s no big marketing team here; we just handle the technical side of things. Lunch is usually eaten at our desks or in the small break room we have in the corner. We spend most of our time looking at samples or filling out paperwork for the regulators. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and you have to be patient. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. The lab equipment is the most important thing in the room. We just keep our heads down and do the testing that’s required of us every day.
