Valli Pillers Clinic

Valli Pillers Clinic is located in Safilguda, which is part of the Malkajgiri area. We are tucked away in a residential street, so it is mostly people from the nearby houses who come to see us. The clinic is part of a small building that has a shop on the ground floor. We have a few rooms where we see patients. The walls are painted a light blue color that has faded over the years. We have a small reception area where one of our family members usually sits to help out with the appointments. We do not have a computer system, so everything is written down in big bound registers. It takes a bit longer to find things, but it works for us. The street outside is narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache, most people just walk or come on their scooters. We have a water cooler in the corner that makes a loud gulping sound every few minutes. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for the evenings when it gets crowded. We see a lot of people with seasonal coughs or colds. We’ve been here in Safilguda for a long time, so we know most of the families by name. It is just a regular neighborhood clinic where we do our best to help out. We usually shut the doors by eight at night and go home to have dinner with our own families.
