We are located at Plot No 110/A in Ramachandrapuram. It’s an industrial sort of area in Andhra Pradesh, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery in the background. We work with valves, which is what Vag Valves India is all about. Our building is a simple one, mostly a warehouse space with a small section carved out for the office desks. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we have these big industrial fans that make a lot of noise but keep us from melting. We’ve got a team of people who really know their way around a wrench and a blueprint. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in work shirts and boots. We spend the morning checking the inventory and making sure the orders are ready to go out. Sometimes there's a delay with the shipping, and we have to spend half the afternoon on the phone trying to track down a driver. We’ve been at this plot for a while now. The neighborhood has other shops and factories, so we usually grab lunch at the canteen nearby. It’s straightforward work. We make sure the valves are sorted and sent to wherever they need to go. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s a good place to work if you don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty.
