Vaaman Sugar Clinic

Vaaman Sugar Clinic is located at 1-57/1 in Mallas Arcade, which is in Mallareddy Colony. We are right beside the More Super Market, so it’s easy for people to find us while they are out getting their groceries. The clinic itself is just a few rooms inside the arcade. We have a small waiting area with some basic chairs and a table with some old newspapers. Most of the work we do involves checking blood levels and talking to people about their daily routines. It’s a practical place, nothing fancy about the decor or the furniture. The walls are a bit plain, and we have some charts hanging up that explain things in a simple way. Sometimes you can hear the music from the supermarket or people talking in the hallway of the arcade. We keep a lot of records in these big filing cabinets that are starting to get full. It’s just a regular part of Mallareddy Colony and Bodupa. We don’t have any big slogans or mission statements. We just open up in the morning, see the people who have appointments, and help them keep track of their sugar. It’s quiet work for the most part, and we’ve been at this spot in Mallas Arcade long enough that it feels like home to us. The lights in the hallway flicker sometimes, but we just get on with things and focus on the patients.
