Vaak Eye And Contact Lens Clinic is at LIG B-2, right across from Sai Sudhir Degree College. We are on the A S Rao Nagar Main Road, which means there’s a lot of foot traffic and noise from the students. The clinic isn’t very big. Inside, we have the chairs for eye exams and the charts with the letters on the wall. We have a lot of different frames on display in these glass cases that we have to wipe down constantly because of the fingerprints. It’s a simple setup where we spend our time checking people's vision and helping them figure out their contact lenses. The carpet in the waiting area is getting a little thin in the middle, but it still does the job. We have a small desk for the paperwork and a drawer full of lens cases and cleaning solutions. Being in A S Rao Nagar is good because people can just drop in while they are out doing their errands. It’s not a corporate office with a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us here, wearing our regular clothes and doing the tests. We’ve been at this location for a while now and most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s a steady way to spend the day, helping people see a bit better and keeping the shop running. There is always a lot of paperwork to finish before we head home.
