V. P. Traders

V. P. Traders is located right across from the Yellamma Temple on Balkampet Main Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially on Tuesdays and Sundays when the temple visitors are out. We have been at No. 7-1-276/30 for quite some time now. The shop is not very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It is mostly shelves stacked high and some ledgers sitting on the desk. We spend most of the morning just unpacking stock and setting things right for whoever walks in. It gets loud with the horns and the people passing by, but we got used to it years ago. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the stools for a bit. We sell a variety of things people need for their homes or small projects. There is no website or anything like that. People just stop their bikes out front and shout for what they want. It is a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. We know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to keep the shelves full and the customers coming back. It is a bit messy sometimes, especially when a big delivery arrives, but that is just how it goes here in Balkampet.
