We are up on the second floor of the Vallam Das Building. It’s on Street Number 6 in Himayat Nagar. If you are looking for Ravi Kiran Apartment, we are right next door to it. The stairs can be a bit steep, so take your time coming up. We spend most of our days surrounded by flowers and sketches for weddings. It’s a bit messy in here sometimes, with ribbons and bits of tape everywhere. That’s just how it goes when you’re planning big events. Hyderabad is a busy place, and Himayat Nagar is always crowded, so finding a parking spot near our building can be tricky. Itkyala Satyanarayan Marg is the main road nearby. We’ve been doing this for a while now. Utsav is just the name we picked, but it’s really just a few of us working hard. We handle the floral side and the planning side. Some days the office smells like lilies, other days it's just the smell of tea. We don't have a receptionist. If the door is open, just come in and yell hello. We’re probably in the back room counting vases or checking the calendar. People come to us when they have a big day coming up. We try to keep track of everything on a big white board. It’s a lot of work but we’re used to it. The building is old but it has character. We keep our scissors sharpened and our coffee mugs full.
