If you head down Road No. 5 in Buddha Nagar Colony, we are in the lane right opposite Anutex, at Plot No. 634. It’s a busy little pocket of the neighborhood. Our daily life revolves around the stock we keep and the people who come looking for specific items. The shop isn't very large, so every bit of shelf space is used up for something or other. We spend a good chunk of our time just organizing things so we can actually find what someone asks for. Being across from a big landmark like Anutex means there’s always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the main road. We see all sorts of people walking by or popping in for a quick chat and a purchase. It’s the kind of place where we know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers quite well. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit stuffy, but we usually just keep the fan going and stay busy. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s simple, honest work, keeping track of inventory and making sure we have what people are looking for when they step off the street into our lane. We’ve been here long enough that the routine feels like second nature now.
