Timber Depot

The Timber Depot is located at 2-2-509 in Amberpet. If you know Hyderabad, you know Amberpet is a busy place with a lot of movement. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of wood and sawdust. It’s a physical job, and our clothes usually end up covered in fine dust by noon. The yard isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack everything. We’ve got different types of wood lying around, and we know exactly where each pile is. The sun gets really hot in the afternoon, so we mostly work in the shade of the roof. It’s a simple operation. We have an old desk where we keep the records and handle the payments. It’s not a digital-first kind of place; we still use a lot of paper notebooks. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask for specific sizes, and we do our best to find what they need in the stacks. The noise of the saw is something you just get used to after a couple of days. We don't have any fancy marketing or a website that looks professional. It’s just a local depot where we work with our hands. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the neighbors all know us. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We just do the work as it comes and try to stay organized.
