Our place is at Plot No.38/B in Phase I of IDA Cherlapally. It’s a proper industrial setting out here. Thrive Solar Energy operates out of this plot, and it’s mostly about managing space and equipment. Cherlapally is a big area, and being in Phase I means we are right in the thick of the manufacturing hub. The roads get dusty and there are always trucks moving about. Inside our gates, it’s a mix of office work and handling the solar components that come in and out. We don’t have any fancy decorations; the walls are plain and the furniture is built to last, not to look good. Most of our day is spent coordinating with people or checking on the hardware. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get out here, but this is where the real work happens. We have a small team, and everyone knows their way around a solar panel. There’s no corporate hierarchy feel here; we all just pitch in when a shipment arrives or when a deadline is looming. The heat can get pretty intense in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that do the trick. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the inventory moving. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it suits the industrial vibe of Cherlapally perfectly.
