The office is located inside Laxmi Nivas Apartments on Greenlands Road, right in the heart of Ameerpet. It’s a bit of a funny setup because it’s an apartment building, but Shop No. 6 is where we do all our import and export work. Being opposite Hotel Green Park makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a lot of samples or crates waiting to be moved out. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. Ameerpet is always buzzing with students and traffic, so there’s a constant drone of noise coming from outside the window. We have a small staff, and we all sit pretty close to each other, which makes it easy to shout out questions. The carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where we walk the most, and we have a shelf full of old catalogs that we probably should have tossed out years ago. There’s a kettle in the back for making tea, and that’s about the extent of our kitchen. We deal with a lot of paperwork and customs forms, which can be a bit of a headache, but we just grind through it every day. It’s a busy, functional spot where we just focus on keeping the goods moving.
