Teena Labs is tucked away on the first floor of Sreerama Towers. We occupy units 105 and 106. It’s a busy building in Kukatpally. You can usually hear the sounds of the street even from the first floor. We do lab work here. It involves a lot of technical details and making sure everything is measured out exactly right. We don't have much time for small talk during the day because the work requires a lot of concentration. The labs are kept as clean as we can manage, though the office area is usually piled high with folders and manuals. We have been working out of this spot for years. Most of our staff have been with us for a long time, so we know how each other works without having to say much. It’s a quiet environment mostly, except for the hum of the equipment in the background. We don't do any big marketing or anything like that. We just do the tests and the research that comes our way from various clients. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is always a bit of a stress when you are in the middle of something. But we manage. It’s just the way things go in this part of town. We take our lunches together when we can, usually talking about anything but work stuff. It’s a decent enough place to spend the day.
