Tata Steels

Our office is located in Surya Towers on SP Road, up on the sixth floor. It’s a busy part of the city and you can always hear the traffic hum from down below even when the windows are shut. Tata Steels has had this space for a bit, and it’s mostly where we handle the day-to-day administrative side of things. We have people coming in to talk about orders or to check on when their steel supplies will be arriving at their sites. The office itself is pretty standard, with desks piled with papers and the constant sound of keyboards clicking away. We aren't really into big corporate speeches here; we just focus on making sure the numbers match up and the logistics are moving as they should. Sometimes the printers jam right when we need a manifest, which is always annoying. During the afternoon, someone usually goes down to get tea for everyone. SP Road is always moving, so there is always something to look at if you stand by the window for a minute. We deal with a lot of different clients, some big and some just local contractors who need a few beams. It’s honest work and keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We don't really have a fancy reception or anything, just a sign on the door and a place to sit while you wait for someone to come out and help you with your inquiry.
