Tara Sales Corporation

Jhandewalan is a busy place to be every day. We are located at No. 56 A in the Cycle Market, right across from the Videocon Tower. Most people use that tower as a landmark to find us. Being in the cycle market means there is always noise and movement outside. You hear the sounds of metal and people shouting across the street. We’ve been here at Tara Sales Corporation for a good while. The shop is small and packed with stuff. We don't have much room for fancy displays. There is usually a layer of dust on the shelves from the road traffic, no matter how much we clean. My desk is tucked in the corner behind a stack of ledgers and old boxes. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is kept. We open the shutters early in the morning. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to count. The tea seller comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just sell what we have and talk to the people who walk in. Some customers have been coming here for years. They know the building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow. It’s just a regular business in a very crowded part of town. We keep it simple.
