You can find Swastik Commercial Corporation right on R P Road, directly across from Jai Bhavani Plywood. We’ve been at this 7-2-626 address for many years. The shop is usually full of boxes and different items we’ve brought in for our customers. It’s a busy street, so there’s always people walking by and cars honking. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy layout, so things are mostly stacked up high. We spend our time helping people find what they need and writing out invoices by hand. It’s a bit old-fashioned here, but it works for us and the people who shop with us. My brother and I run the place mostly, along with one or two others who help with the heavy lifting. We know the other shop owners on the road and it feels like a little community. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face. It’s a practical way to run a business. People know us for being here every morning when the shutters go up. It’s just a regular local spot on a busy road, and we plan to stay here as long as we can. There is no reason to change how we do things.
