Surya Pet Shop & Clinic

This pet shop and clinic has been sitting in Valmiki Nagar for quite some time. We are right beside the HP Petrol Bunk in East Marredpally, so if you are getting gas, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s a small space at C-3-35-527 but we cram a lot in there. We have the shop part where you can get food and then the clinic part for when the animals aren't feeling great. It’s a bit cramped when three or four people bring their dogs in at once. You can hear the barking from the street sometimes. We deal with cats and dogs mostly. The East Marredpally area is pretty busy, so there’s always someone stopping by. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s just a neighborhood pet spot. Sometimes we run out of certain brands of food because the delivery truck is late. That’s just how it goes here. The staff likes animals, which is why they work here. We try to keep things clean but with pets, it’s a constant job. If you live nearby, you know the spot. We are just a few doors down from the main road. It’s a practical place for people who don’t want to drive across the city just to see a vet. We just keep things simple and do our work every day without much fuss. It's a bit of a squeeze inside, but we make it work for everyone who comes by.
