Super Granites

Our stone yard is located at 2-1-287 in Barkathpura, right here in Metpally. If you have ever been to this part of Karimnagar, you know it is famous for its granite. We keep slabs of stone sitting out in the sun, and the heat gets pretty intense during the summer months. The work is heavy and constant. We spend most of our time moving these massive pieces around and trying to make sure the cuts are as straight as possible. It is dusty work, and by the end of the day, our boots and clothes are covered in a fine layer of grit. There is no big, fancy showroom with air conditioning here, just the raw stone and the tools we use to shape it. Usually, the trucks show up early to load, and my brother helps the local guys get everything onto the flatbeds. It is hard on the back, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do not do much advertising or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors and just walk through the front gate to see what we have in stock that week. Every slab has a different pattern, so it takes time to look through them all. We just try to be fair and keep the saws running so the orders stay on schedule. It is a simple life out here in the yard.
